๐Ÿ“œ Rise Gaming - Takistan Life Rules

Warning

Staff may interpret or expand upon these rules to maintain community health and fair gameplay.


โš–๏ธ General Rules

  1. Be respectful. Discrimination or harassment of any kind is punishable.
  2. No hacking, exploiting glitches, or using illegitimate items.
  3. No chat spam (text or voice).
  4. No RDM (Random Deathmatching): Only kill when there is valid in-character RP and an immediate, demonstrable lethal threat (e.g., aimed weapon, firing, or imminent vehicle ramming).
  5. New Life Rule: As a civilian, upon death you lose memory of your prior life. Do not return to the exact death location or attempt to recover gear for 10 minutes or for the event duration.
  6. BLUFOR, INDEP, and OPFOR must use their factionโ€™s Discord voice channels.
  7. No metagaming.
  8. Use typed commands (e.g., "hands up")โ€”not everyone hears voice.
  9. No cross-faction transfers of money/gear/vehicles.
  10. Use buildable items only for valid RPโ€”no trolling.

โš”๏ธ Combat Rules

  1. No Combat Logging: Do not respawn or relog to avoid RP consequences.
  2. No fleeing to safezones: You may not run into safezones during active combat or whilst being chased by an opposing faction.
    a. Active Combat / Active Chase is defined firing or being fired upon or being within immediate range (up to 500m) of your opponent in the last 5 minutes.
  3. No killing or robbing in Safe Zones.
  4. No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatching): You may only use a vehicle to kill if the target poses an immediate lethal threat (e.g., actively shooting at you or intentionally driving to ram you).
  5. Do not kill visibly unarmed players. If a player takes clear hostile action (reaching for a hidden weapon, attempting to ram, etc) treat them as armed. Exception: collisions with ATVs/bikes that cannot reasonably defend.
  6. Armed helicopters may only target civilians if threatened.
  7. Civilians in armed vehicles are KOS: a vehicle is considered 'armed' if it has mounted weapons.
  8. No kamikaze or ramming tactics with vehicles, this includes unmanned drones.
  9. Actively robbing another factionโ€™s convoy will make you KOS.
  10. Entering enemy territory without joint ops = KOS.
  11. No spawn camping; allow exit routes (leave at least one clear path and reasonable time for players to exit spawn).

๐Ÿ“ฐ News Team

  1. Must wear press outfit and hold a valid news license.
  2. News teams have diplomatic immunity unless explicitly denied access.
  3. Never harm or obstruct news crew.
  4. Must remain neutral and unarmed.
  5. Cannot share tactical info or unit locations.
  6. Assume responsibility for entering combat zones.
  7. Must obey police when told to leave an area.

๐Ÿš‘ ESU Rules

  1. Must wear ESU uniform and use ESU vehicles only.
  2. Cannot be armed or commit crimes.
  3. Protected from crimes being comitted against them; this is not a license to commit crimes or avoid lawful enforcement.
  4. Only perform ESU duties.
  5. Wait 1 minute after combat ends to revive.
  6. Must remain faction neutral in all interactions.

โš”๏ธ War Rules

  1. Only Opfor can declare war with valid RP and staff approval.
  2. Civilians may not participate.
  3. Minimize civilian casualties.
  4. To win: Capture all enemy territory points and contain them within 1500m of their base for 10 minutes.
  5. If you shoot from a no kill zone, you forfeit no kill zone protection for 5 minutes.
  6. No war within the first hour of server uptime.
  7. War ends in a draw if unresolved after 2 hours.
  8. No land or rewards granted unless staff declares.
  9. Staff may end war at any time.

๐Ÿšจ Martial Law

  1. Declared by staff or high-ranking Blufor.
  2. Enables heavy vehicles against major threats.
  3. Applies to the entire North.
  4. War vehicles cannot target civilians unless lethal threat.
  5. Must end martial law once threat is over.
  6. Civilians can be searched without cause during martial law.
  7. Staff controls declaration/end.

๐Ÿค Joint Ops

  1. Declared by mutual agreement of Blufor/Opfor commanders.
  2. Enables faction collaboration.
  3. Territory rules apply (e.g. Opfor leads in the South).
  4. Must be communicated to all units.
  5. Cross-territory access is allowed.
  6. Either faction can end the operation.
  7. War cannot be declared during joint ops.
  8. Both factions enforce laws map-wide.
  9. Staff controls declaration/end.
  10. OPFOR cannot bring War Vehicles into the North if Martial Law is not declared.
    a. War Vehicles include any vehicle that uses explosive ordinance or an ammo calibre higher than 12.7ร—99mm NATO.

โš–๏ธ Cross-Border Operations

  1. Neither BLUFOR nor OPFOR may be in the territory of the other faction unless one or more of the following conditions are met.
    a. Joint Operations are declared.
    b. War is declared.
    c. The other faction gives specific permission to cross the border for a limited purpose (unlike Joint Ops which is general freedom (Joint Ops Rule 10 still applies in this scenario))
    d. OPFOR OSF are excluded from this rule so long as they have an RP reason, but it is still illegal and they may be engaged by BLUFOR in the North.
  2. BLUFOR Drones may not be sent across the border without one or more of the same conditions being met. OPFOR only require an RP reason.
  3. Both sides can engage known and confirmed hostiles who are on the other side of the border, so long as they do not cross the border to do so.
    a. This does not include BLUFOR firing on people leaving the Independent Base who have not expressed hostile action.
    b. Shooting over the border can still incur RP consequences and preferably should be done with permission from the other faction.
    c. OPFOR cannot use War Vehicles to fire into the North if Martial Law is not declared (See Joint Ops Rule 10a for War Vehicle definition).

๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ Blufor (Police)

General

  1. Must be on Discord in Blufor voice channels.
  2. Role: Protect civilians and enforce law.
  3. Use non-lethal force first when possible.
  4. Police Chief must be active on Discord; staff may replace at their own discretion.
  5. Observe rank hierarchy. Staff > Chief > Higher Ranking Officers.
  6. Must explain citations for them to be valid.
  7. No compensation requests unless a rule was broken.
  8. Cannot enter the South unless in joint ops, war, or with OPFOR permission. See Cross-Border Operations for further information.

Kill/Arrest

  1. Never kill unarmed Civilians. VDM attempts = armed.
  2. Must carry a stun weapon.
  3. Must give reason for arrests.
  4. Civs in armed and heavily armoured police vehicles = KOS; otherwise arrest. (anything resistant to 7.62x51mm rifle is heavily armoured)

Searches

  1. Require probable cause outside gov areas (examples: observed crime, visible contraband, or suspicious behavior).
  2. At a traffic stop, only tickets allowed unless probable cause.
  3. Can search at government facilities/checkpoints without cause.

Vehicles

  1. Follow traffic laws. Violators may be removed from Blufor.
  2. No compensation owed to Civs who intentionally obstruct responding police vehicles.
  3. Use marked vehicles unless undercover.

Drugs/Gangs

  1. Require 4 officers to raid gang areas.
  2. Cannot arrest for possession of drug license alone.

Stun/Restrain

  1. Stun non-compliant Civs.
  2. Restrain to protect Civs or officers.
  3. Stun/restrain/arrest for loitering in active conflict zones.

Checkpoints

  1. Must have bar gate + sign, and be suitably marked on the map.
  2. Civs approaching may be searched at will.
  3. Check license before disarming; holstered pistols allowed.
  4. Turning around near a checkpoint is illegal.

Impounding

  1. Must impound abandoned vehicles.
  2. Vehicles blocking spawns may be impounded immediately.

Insurgents

  1. Blufor and Insurgents may KOS; arrests are preferred when safe and feasible.
  2. May arrest insurgents without a witnessed crime.

๐ŸŸฅ Opfor

General

  1. Must allow Civ access to land/resources.
  2. Non-lethal methods encouraged but not required.
  3. Cannot tax more than $150,000.
  4. Cannot enter the North unless in joint ops, war, or with BLUFOR permission. OSF are excluded from this. See Cross-Border Operations for further information.

Checkpoints

(Same as Blufor)

Insurgents

  1. KOS is acceptable but arresting is preferred.
  2. May be arrested for terrorism or held longer for other crimes.
  3. No camping Insurgent bases.
  4. Cannot request compensation after being killed by Insurgents.

Kill/Arrest

  1. May only kill Civilians in self-defense without a roleplay justification.

OSF

  1. May conduct RP-valid incursions into North (e.g., kidnapping, convoy theft).
  2. Incursions just to incite war or fight blufor are forbidden.

๐ŸŸข Insurgents

  1. May KOS Blufor and Opfor only.
  2. Must follow the orders of their Caliph.
  3. Cannot kill Civilians unless attacked.
  4. Must help and protect Muslim Civilians where possible.
  5. Bomb checkpoints sparingly.
  6. Do not camp checkpoints.
  7. Cannot align or prefer certain factions.
  8. May rob government convoys.
  9. May hire PMCs.

๐ŸŸก Civilians

General

  1. Allowed to take control of factory zones, but cannot indiscriminately kill others without valid reasoning.

No Compensation If

  • You provoke others with large sums of money.
  • Stand/lie/run in roads to get hit.
  • Punch armed people.
  • Jump from moving vehicles.
  • Drop weapons to claim "unarmed."
  • Refuse kidnapping/robbery.
  • Run into gunfights.
  • Drive faction vehicles.

VDM

  • Only allowed if life is in immediate danger.

Stealing

  1. No stealing in safe zones.
  2. May steal faction vehicles but expect a lethal response.

Gangs

  1. May kill/steal/claim territory from rival gangs.
  2. Cannot claim compensation when killed in gang/drug zones.
  3. Must declare war on another gang for combat in towns.

Terrorism

  1. Civilians may not commit terrorism. Switch to Independent.

President

  1. Must be on Discord.
  2. Leads the Republic (North); must stay out of the South.
  3. Blufor may declare you corrupt and arrest with RP.
  4. Declared corrupt = term ends; may flee to the South.
  5. Only allowed a handgun.
  6. Becomes a valid RP target โ€” no compensation if killed during roleplay.
  7. Unrealistic RP can lead to removal by staff.
  8. Cannot change speed limits.

๐Ÿ’ผ PMC

  1. May work for any faction; and collect bounties when not contracted.
  2. No compensation unless rulebreak leads to loss.
  3. Contract prices must be between $15kโ€“$3M.
  4. Must follow NLR.
  5. No crimes outside contracts.
  6. Must wait 2 minutes before taking action against any targets after accepting a contract.
