OpenShift Showroom Terminal Images

Overview

This repository holds the source code for the OpenShift Showroom terminal images.

These images are intended to be used with the AgnosticD Workload ocp4_workload_showroom and can be used to provide a terminal running in a pod rather than having to ssh to a bastion VM.

They are supposed to be complete - but PRs are accepted for missing tools. Although please consider if your PR will add a tool that every user of that image would want. If not please create a new image (based on an existing image) and use that one.

The images are structured like this:

• Base Image

  • OpenShift Image

    • ROSA Image

    • ARO Image

New images can be added via Pull Request.

Building

All you need to have installed on your workstation is git and podman.

In order to build (you need to have push permissions for the repository on Quay.io) follow these steps:

podman login quay.io

git clone https://github.com/openshift-showroom-terminal
cd openshift-showroom-terminal

./build.sh

Images are tagged with latest and the current date (e.g. 2023-12-13) when a build finishes.
