This is BETA version of ringOS which includes Limine bootloader and Limine boot protocol.
Currently this version includes:

  • GDT
  • Keyboard (which spams)
  • Custom printf (from Limine's repo, test folder)
  • Backgrounds (bmps, you can change background in limine.cfg file)

ringOS stable release
ringOS v2.0.0

New ringOS stable version v2.0.0 is now finally released.
Improvements over ringOS v1.0.0:

  • GUI (BMP images, basic Windowing manager)
  • Bug fixes
  • printf
  • Other

Few notes:

  • Recommended running in Qemu or VmWare
  • ringOS v2.0.0 is EXTREMELY UNSTABLE on real hardware
  • ringOS is still in development so new updates are frequent.
