Specific informations for the use of drumkv1 !

More general information can be found on the samplv1 manual here. (same modules except GEN)

Drumkv1 is an old-school drum-kit sampler synthesizer with stereo fx.
It's available as a pure stand-alone JACK client with JACK-session, NSM (Non Session management) and both JACK MIDI and ALSA MIDI input support, and a LV2 instrument plug-in.

  • Sample Bank : The sample bank allows you to choose a sample for all the different midi notes [0-127]. In the [35-81] interval it precises the GM-Map to have coherent drumkits across your library. On the left a green LED indicates when a sample has been triggered. Clicking it with also results in a trigger (cool for quick audition without midi input)
  • Reverse : When activated the sample is played from the last frame to the first one.
  • Group : This parameter allows you to specify is the current sample’s group. When a sample is triggered, all samples in the same group are stopped.
  • Coarse : Changes the pitch (big variations) of the sample. [-400,400] : 100 = 12 semitones
  • Fine : Changes the pitch (subtle variations) of the sample. [-100,100] : 100 = 1semitone
  • Envtime : This parameter scales the envelope durations. A larger value makes the envelope slower. Envelope stage durations (always between 0.0 and 1.0) are converted to milliseconds in the following way msec = duration * envtime * 10000
