Frame
To build our frame we used the Makerbeam starter kit. We provide the scheme to build the frame we designed for our ZAF but you can adjust the frame depending on your fish facility the number of pumps you need etc...
The frame must contain
- i. An area for the electronics where the Raspberry Pi, the motor driver and the screen can be supported.
- ii. Some support bar for the pumps and valve.
- iii. A food/water mixing space that can have a water container, servo and food container support.

The frame design is important because it will be the "body" of you robot. The corner cube must be at the cardinal point of your robot. Additionally you must anticipate the placement of the spacer and the square headed bolts to support the electronics like the servo and the motors drivers during the construction of your robot frame.
There is many way to use the steel brackets to buildup your robot. On the following figure we give you exemple of how to use the steel brackets to fortify the structure but also build custom support for the electronics. Do not hesitate to you use them intensively to get a robust structure.

- A. Corner of our ZAF frame with a corner cube.
- B & C. Exemple os how to use the steel brackets to reinforce the structure.
- D. We used the corner steel brackets and a small Makerbeam to create a support for the electronics component.
- E. Spacer used to hold Motors drivers
Now it is time to have fun and enjoy playing with the Makerbeam to build your own ZAF, a Proust Madeleine moment appealing to your childhood memories playing Lego.
