In order to prevent accidental issues with publishing we should avoid publishing from developer machines (see this example).
In order to do this we should:
- Add a
.github/workflows/publish.yml that does npx auto-dist-tag --write and npm publish (see this example) for tags
- Add a new NPM_PUBLIC_TOKEN secret to the current repo
- Set
npm: false in the release-it config in package.json
