Hi,

It's always tricky finding your images on startup. What about having a dialog that lets you automatically create landmarks for a basic alignment to get you started. For example, you could automatically place landmarks at the vertex points of both dataset volumes. Ideally, you'd also have basic transforms such as flip, rotate 90º increments, so you can account for datasets being acquired from above and below, for example. Then you could have a starting view where all 8 vertices are placed within the field of view.

Many CLEM workflows start with datasets that cover a roughly similar volume, so this would help us avoid messing around for a while zooming and panning to find the images before we've placed any landmarks manually.

Cheers,

Matt
