Nexus 3.8 will have a new URL for Rest API calls

As you may have seen in #36 and #38, the maintenance of this repo has been discontinued in 2017. As a consequence, and after waiting for a response from the original author at that time, I hard-forked the repo which I maintain since then at https://github.com/ansible-ThoTeam/nexus3-oss and that you already found since you cited a PR in your description.

There is almost no chance your PR gets ever included (there have been no responses here since 2017). As mentioned in your description, the current problem is already addressed in the other role's version which should be compatible with an old config from this role since it was abandoned. There are also a lot of other bugfixes and improvements you can take advantage of (yum and apt support, compat with recent ansible versions, performance improvements ....). Feel free to try and collaborate if it meets your expectations.
