A further simplified version of previous PR with minimal changes to the latest version of the jsftp.js file.
@sergi, once again I wasn't able to add tests with the PR mainly because I couldn't get them to run on my machine and didn't have time to try to debug it. Sorry. I've added some changes to Readme.md though. Let me know if there is anything you would like me to do to make it easier to accept this request.
