flower_recognizer

A command-line app to recognize a flower by its photo.

To use it, download the app, navigate to the folder containing the archive, unarchive it, and run it using the following commands. You could test the app with the images in the folder test_images or with flower photos found in the Google Images search results.

macOS Terminal

ditto -x -k flower_recognizer_built_on_macOS_12.zip .
cd flower_recognizer
./flower_recognizer test_images/cautleya_spicata.jpg

Note: Because the app is neither developer-signed nor notarized by an identified Developer ID at Apple, GateKeeper on macOS prevents running it—unless the user allows it in the System Preferences:

System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Allow flower_recognizer

Windows PowerShell

tar -xf flower_recognizer_built_on_Windows_Server_2022.tar.gz
cd flower_recognizer
.\flower_recognizer.exe Resources\test_images\cautleya_spicata.jpg

Linux Terminal
