This leverages the
--character-tablefeature from #195 by @sharifhsn to solve #36. It adds a new--character-table=asciioption ("ascii-only" was previously renamed to "default") that is similar to the character table used byhexdump/xxd.This can be used in combination with
--border=noneor--border=asciito only show printable ASCII characters on the terminal:closes #36
