The Snapmaker Ray series engravers use standard GRBL in the controller.
This is a departure from the previous Snapmaker devices using Marlin-based firmware. Selecting the Snapmaker profile in LightBurn will not work to connect with the new controller in the Snapmaker Ray.
The Device Profile has been added to the LightBurn 1.5+ release but the preceding versions will require that the Device Profile be imported.
To import the Device Profile for your Snapmaker Ray 20W or 40W laser engraver download the lbdev (LightBurn Device) file for your engraver.
