Usage

Two types of rodent behavioral analysis are supported in the toolbox:

  1. Ladder rung footfall analysis

  2. Gait kinematics

Note: for both analysis, you need to have the bodypart coordinate data, either from DeepLabCut (validated format) or another system. For ladder rung footfall / slip analysis, you need the video recordings in addition for validating the output.

While all the results can be exported in csv format and analyzed with the software of your choice, we also implemented functions for convenient between-group data analysis with PCA and random forest for the high-dimensional gait kinematic output from the toolbox:
