Rural, Suburban, Urban Classification for Small Area Analysis

This repository includes the data, methods and code used in developing the re-classification scheme for Census tracts and zip codes as rural, urban, or suburban, based on their 2010 USDA-ERS Rural Urban Commuting Area (RUCA) Codes.

This release includes the final datasets with rural, suburban, urban classifications for all U.S. Census tracts and ZIP Code Tract Areas (ZCTAs).
