I'm a former professor and researcher in the fields of optics and electromagnetism who started contributing to open source by building the tools I needed in my research. As more and more people found them useful, I've been maintaining them since 2009.

My passion for programming led me to a recent career change into embedded development, which is what I do most of the time, now. On my free time, I continue to maintain and add user-requested features to my main projects, even though I'm not using them any longer. That's why all sponsorship support is extremely welcome!
