Many features you see in the JavaScript ecosystem today have been either designed or championed by our core teams: lockfiles, workspaces, offline mirrors, plug'n'play, constraints, and many more.

Our maintainers are unmatched experts in package management and, while the project has successfully run without receiving sponsorships from 2016 to today, we believe it's now important to finally achieve sustainability and secure funds that will go toward the R&D needed to support a fast-changing landscape.
