- Pin Python dependency upper bounds in requirements.txt (torch, botorch, tueplots, jupyter, jupyter-cache, pyyaml) - Pin macOS version (macos-13) and R version (4.3.1) in CI workflow - Add build artifacts to .gitignore (_book/, _freeze/, .jupyter_cache/) - Add reproducibility section to README with version recommendations - Fix XeTeX/bbm font incompatibility in preamble.tex - Disable matplotlib usetex to avoid LaTeX PATH conflicts
Adds a hit counter badge from hits.seeyoufarm.com to the sidebar footer, which displays on all pages. This addresses issue #15.
- Standardize item notation: y ∈ Y → j ∈ {1,...,M}
- Update utility notation: u(y) → V_j (item parameter), H_j/H_{ij} (latent utility)
- Update probability notation: P[·] → p(·)
- Add notation callout at beginning of Chapter 2
- Update notation table with unified symbols
- Fix typos: "helplessness" → "helpfulness", "Ackerman" → "Ackley"
- Standardize Chapter 3 subscripts: H_{i,j} → H_{ij}
