Editing the repository

This document provides instructions on how to edit the repository of the S&T website.

To update the website, you need to modify the repository stfbk.github.io. To prevent unauthorized edits, any change to the repository should be submitted through a pull request, which will be checked and (in case) approved by the administrators. Here follows a list of steps to be followed:

1. Open the file that you need to edit and click on the "pencil" icon.

2. Edit the content of the page (see below) and click on the "Propose new file" button (repeat this step for all the files that you need to change).

3. Click on the "Create pull request" button.

4. Click again on the "Create pull request" button. As a result, your local fork is proposed to be merged to the master branch of the website (upon approval of an administrator).

5. After your pull request is accepted, you can delete your local fork.
