Policy of the Week

StrongDM Zero Trust Sample Policies

StrongDM's Zero Trust Policies allow administrators to enforce fine-grained access control for users in their organization. Policies are enforced in real-time and can be used to further restrict access with granular precision and contextual attributes, as well as trigger additional authorization requirements such as MFA prompts, approval workflows, require a logged justification reason, fail with an error message, log-out the user, send a notification pop-up.

Benefits of StrongDM Zero Trust Policies for organizatrions:

  • Modernize and simplify access management
  • Achieve continuous compliance
  • Reduce the risk of unauthorized access to critical systems

Zero Trust Policies are based on the open-source Cedar authorization language, which evaluates authorization statements in real-time, in a language that is easy to read and write.
