This is an STM32WLE5 standalone module built with Seeed Studio Wio-E5. The objective was to replace the proprietary firmware and make use of the STM32 chip to run a custom firmware which makes use of the built in SubGHz radio for specific purposes. At the back of the PCB there are interface touch pads for Software Debug interface as well as an UART debug connector pads. This module is pin compatible with ESP02S modules and ESP8685-WROOM-03 this helps to add SubGHz and LoRaWAN cpability (with proper firmware) to any existing solution built for limited WiFi and Bluetooth solutions.
This is a size comparison of the built module. Note that in this picture the pinout is mirrored but the actual design is done the other way.
