Future Plans

We have a Pivotal Tracker ice box full of features that the client would like implemented. The beta release is now live and the customer has started to distribute to interested parties. We are getting a mixture of positive feedback and feature requests.
We plan to continue improving the site incrementally over the coming years in the hope that it will provide a service of some value to the local community.
This project serves as a model for an online class project comprised of a diverse array of team members in different locales and time zones. We plan to promote it in future online classes, and hope that it will be joined by other similar projects.
Local Support itself could be deployed in other areas besides the London Borough of Harrow, and we would be very happy to work with other local areas to set up their own directories.
Finally we look to continue to improve the online collaboration process by exploring new tools and developing mechanisms for highly distributed teams to co-ordinate with one another, in particular to schedule times for remote pair programming sessions.
