+Prior to starting the screen recording, I went ahead and read the instructions for BrowserHistory1 just so I don’t make a fool out of myself and freeze up mid recording. In doing so, I was able to understand it a little better and was able to carry out the first WOD fairly smoothly, although it did take me a lot longer than 25 minutes, I was able to fully understand the concepts of BrowserHistory1. Upon doing BrowserHistory2, I was much more confident especially since I saw that the minimum time to get it done was less than 10 minutes. However, I was in for a rude awakening, I did exactly (or at least I think I did) what the instructions told me to and when reviewing the video on how to do it, it seemed as if I did exactly what the professor did. Being super frustrated at this point, I moved onto BrowserHistory3 and after copying the .html file to my BrowserHistory3 and loading it onto my browser, it looked like what BrowserHistory2 was supposed to look like! After an hour of deleting code and pasting, I finally gave up and went to the gym to try to relieve stress.

+As the semester comes to an end, I have noticed that I must work ten times harder to improve my programming skills. Though I have learned a lot through completing the Workout of the Days (WODs) I still continue to struggle. Coding takes a lot of understanding of which I have yet to do. I can not confidently complete the WODs without having the screencast on another tab. Though I have tried not pulling up the screencast, I would just take way too long. The labs definitely have helped me throughout the semester, however since Professor Kazman changed his teaching style a bit to make us a little more independent it has been quite difficult to learn. Though I know that this teaching style is better for us in the long run and allows us more room to troubleshoot our own issues, it is not enjoyable and extremely stressful. I have learned that I must begin Assignment 2 as soon as I can because waiting til the last minute to ask for help will ultimately make things harder for myself. What helps me the most is Professor Kazman’s office hours, in the future, I plan to use more of that.

+For my Assignment 3 I did my best to improve my e-commerce store (apple). I am really proud of my aesthetic of the website, however I was not able to complete the project the way I had hoped I could. I had trouble sending the invoice to my email once I was trying to purchase the products. I am very glad that I was able to complete most of the requirements. In the previous reflection I stated that I would ask for more help but I didn’t, which in the end really could have saved me. If I could go back and change anything I would have definitely worked with a partner so that I would be able to split up the work but also ask for their help when I did not know how to do specific tasks.

+Hey whoever is is reading this! My name is John and I had the hardest time getting this portfolio to
