Paxa Labs serves OpenAI-compatible /v1/audio/speech and /v1/audio/transcriptions at api.paxalabs.com with API key auth, so it uses the existing OpenAI schema with prefix /v1. Docs only. Could you please update the missing files from: https://github.com/theagentrouter/agent-router/blob/main/site/static/img/providers/README.md#adding-a-supported-provider?
Completes the provider checklist in site/static/img/providers/README.md. The logo is the official Paxa Labs mark from paxalabs.com/brand with its background plate left out, so it has a transparent background. Paxa needs only the OpenAI schema with prefix /v1, so the 1.2 docs get the same row. Description
Adds Paxa Labs to the supported providers table. Paxa Labs is a speech AI API from Bangkok: text to speech in Thai, English and Mandarin Chinese, and speech to text (a research preview). Its OpenAI-compatible endpoints are
POST /v1/audio/speechandPOST /v1/audio/transcriptionsathttps://api.paxalabs.com/v1with API key auth [1], so it uses the existingOpenAIschema ({"name":"OpenAI","prefix":"/v1"}) and the API Key security policy. No code changes. What I checked in the gateway code:
/v1/audio/speechand/v1/audio/transcriptionsare registered for the OpenAI schema incmd/extproc/mainlib/main.go, and both OpenAI-to-OpenAI translators pass the request body through apart from the optional model name override. Paxa doesn't serve chat completions or/v1/audio/translations, so the note says audio only. What we tested directly against the Paxa API, not through a gateway:
/v1/audio/speechwith a Paxa model and voice returns mp3, opus and wav, and/v1/audio/transcriptionsreturns json, text, srt and vtt. Paxa doesn't accept OpenAI model or voice names,verbose_json, orpcmtoday, so requests need a Paxa model id and voice id. On the model side, a route'smodelNameOverridecan do the mapping.Related Issues/PRs (if applicable)
Follows the existing OpenAI-compatible rows, most recently Eden AI (#2407) and Heabsy (#2792).
Special notes for reviewers (if applicable)
Docs only: one row in
supported-providers.md, after Eden AI. The versioned docs aren't touched.prettier --check(3.6.2) passes andgit diff --checkis clean. The provider-endpoint compatibility table in
supported-endpoints.mdhas no audio columns, so I left it alone. Happy to add Speech and Transcriptions columns if that's useful./v1/audio/speechalso isn't described insupported-endpoints.mdyet, though it has been routed since #1831.AI usage: I prepared this change with help from Claude (Claude Code), and I checked the row, the code paths above and the claims myself.
I'm a co-founder of Paxa Labs and happy to keep this entry current.
