Allows ss (socket statistics) to continously output microsecond timestamped procfs information about current TCP connections. Based on iproute2 "ss - another utility to investigate sockets." Usage: ss -g Install: sudo apt-get install iptables-dev ./configure make Output: When using the -g option, ss will output data like the following example. The delimiter between continuous procfs reads is the TIMESTAMP keyword. mono and real correspond to the timestamps logged using clock_gettime (see `man 2 clock_gettime`). TIMESTAMP mono 1296043 253642430 real 1330444244 341364392 ESTAB 0 0 216.165.108.71:44923 74.125.113.105:443 timer:(keepalive,37sec,0) uid:1046 ino:31840194 sk:ffff8801e3e50000 mem:(r0,w0,f0,t0) ts sack cubic wscale:6,7 rto:228 rtt:31/13 ato:40 send 731.9Kbps rcv_rtt:26 rcv_space:45800 ESTAB 0 0 216.165.108.71:52953 72.247.238.10:www timer:(keepalive,22sec,0) users:(("chrome",537,215)) uid:1046 ino:31855725 sk:ffff8801e3ece540 mem:(r0,w0,f0,t0) ts sack cubic wscale:2,7 rto:204 rtt:6.5/7 ato:40 cwnd:3 send 5.3Mbps rcv_rtt:32 rcv_space:14600
