First public build of Maccord — a native macOS Discord client (Swift 6 + SwiftUI, not Electron).

Highlights

  • ⌘K Quick Switcher — search the whole account: servers, channels, DMs, friends
  • Four‑pane Discord layout on Liquid Glass (macOS 26 Tahoe), single ~200 MB process
  • Messages, reactions, replies, forwarding, pins, message search, drag‑drop uploads
  • Member list, presence, moderation, server management
  • Token persists across launches (Keychain + Application Support fallback)

Install

Download Maccord-0.1.0.zip, unzip, drag Maccord.app to /Applications. First launch may need right‑click → Open (ad‑hoc signed), or:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Maccord.app

Requires macOS 26.0+ (Tahoe).

Logging in with a user token violates Discord's ToS — use at your own risk. A bot token also works.
