Why

The transcription skill told agents to use --target-language for translation, but this flag only hints at the spoken language for Replicate. Following that advice can silently produce an untranslated transcript.

Document full lowercase English language names such as french for Replicate, BCP-47 codes such as fr-FR with --source-language for AWS/GCP, the en-US default for AWS/GCP, and automatic detection when the Replicate hint is omitted. For translation, transcribe first and process the transcript with /text/translate.

Validation

• corepack yarn check passes. TypeScript lint and Biome were also rerun on tracked files to exclude the pre-existing untracked VS Code workspace; its original checksum is preserved.
• The change is limited to the transcription skill’s language guidance.
• Council round one clarified the AWS/GCP en-US default. Round two found no issues.
• All three CI checks pass on 3253426, including both integration E2E jobs; latest main is included.
