##General
Our software project titled "NSA 4 Dummies" is a small, lightweight application to show unencrpyted traffic and IP-Routing in your own home network. There's no need for further knowledge regarding network security, so this tool is for everyone who want's to get a fast and general overview of their data traffic.
"NSA 4 Dummies" was developed by a team of students from the "Technische Universität Ilmenau" during their mandatory 4th semester course called "Softwareprojekt".
Encrypted data isn't supposed to be logged and intruding secured networks isn't able with this application.
Using the software does not violate §202a, §202b, §202c StGB.
##Quick start:
Download the latest release
The installer file is named "nsa_{VERSION}_installer.exe".
After you downloaded the setup file, a simple doubleclick starts the installation process. In order to install this program, you have to agree to the licence. Then you are asked whether you want to install WinPcap.
WinPcap is an essential component for NSA 4 Dummies. It is required for our program in order to function properly. This library installs automatically during the nsa4dummies - installer - process, otherwise klick the following link.

No Software is without error. For that reason we don´t assume any liability for mistakes. University carry out research work with circumspection taking well-known status from science and technology as a basis. Liability for defects will not be taken especially for consequential damages (lost profits, property damage, etc.) are hereby excluded. Otherwise liability is restricted on to deliberate and grossly negligent attempted damage.
