Very nice indeed!
Maybe a 70MB sample file is on the big side for a code repo. How about we add that to deck.gl-data repo instead? https://github.com/visgl/deck.gl-data/tree/master/formats

This GeoArrow dataset contains block-level earnings data of New York City from 2002 to 2014. The map is a Quantile map based on the total number of jobs in year 2000-2002. Data is prepared by the Center for Spatial Data Science at University of Chicago. Data source: CSDS.
