Wallets are now remote or local node only for speed and simplicity of sync.
Keeping in line with future competitive fee market for network service nodes. Currently 0.25% with a maximum of 10 XFG per txn processed by remote service nodes, later versions to include changes which offer node operators the option of setting their own percentage rate variable.

Chain syncing can be done much quicker using remote node option in settings.
