This repository contains a sample app that implements MVVM architecture using the following open source libraries
- RxJava - for composing asynchronous and event-based programs by using observable sequences
- Retrofit - Http client for to access the New York Times API.
- Glide - for more efficient image rendering.
- GSON - to streamline the parsing of JSON data.
- Retrolambda expressions - to cleanup event handling blocks.
- Mockito - for moking classes for JUnit testing.
Android application that fetches articles from Newyork Times Api and displays the content in master-detail style.
