How to install a theme

Installation process depends on your OS. Below you can see instructions for Linux, Windows and Macintosh:

Linux

1. Choose a theme and download ImageCache.png file
2. Move it to a ~/.audacity-data/Theme directory
3. Open Audacity Preferences window and in Interface tab change theme to a Custom theme.

Windows

1. Choose a theme and download ImageCache.png file
2. Move it to a %appdata%/audacity/Theme directory
3. Open Audacity Preferences window and in Interface tab change theme to a Custom theme.

Macintosh

1. Choose a theme and download ImageCache.png file
2. Move it to a ~/Library/Application Support/audacity/Theme directory
3. Open Audacity Preferences window and in Interface tab change theme to a Custom theme.
