Voku is the place where Esperanto speakers can meet and talk to each other. It's a video calling platform where you can create a room and invite your friends to join you. Or you can use our random call mode to meet new people and make new friends from all over the world.
Start using Voku at: voku.org
Voku is completely focused on the Esperanto community and its needs. We are constantly working on adding new features to make it more useful and fun. Some of the features that are already available are:
- Peer-to-Peer video calling
- Random call mode
- Esperanto language support
- X-System automatic translation
Esperanto is the world's most widely spoken constructed international auxiliary language. Its simple grammar and a vocabulary make it easy to learn. It was created in 1887 by L. L. Zamenhof, a Polish-Jewish ophthalmologist, to allow people to communicate with each other, without having to learn each other's language.
Voku is completely open source and free for life. We depend on the community to maintain this project and keep improving it. If you want to contribute to this project, you can do in the following ways:
- Report/fix bugs and errors
- Suggest/add new features
- Infrastructure support
- Financial support
- Spread the word
Any kind of help is important and welcome. Send us an email at [email protected] mentioning how you want to contribute to this project. Or you can directly create a pull request with your changes.
We are always open to collaborating with organizations and companies as well. If you want to become a sponsor or partner, please contact us.
