This page is to capture specific thoughts, discussions, and notes on testing or implementation of WCAG criteria that are beyond the scope of the WCAG2ICT Note document. These do not necessarily represent a consensus viewpoint of the TF and are not requirements or documented as techniques for meeting or failing the criteria.

SC 1.4.11 Non-text contrast

For products with closed functionality where colors are not programmatically available, this SC may be testable using screen capture (e.g. via HDMI connection or that supports direct screen shots of content), provided the method of capturing results in an accurate representation of the color contrast and content that appears on the display.
