hey @h3rak1it thanks for the application, I wonder what you mean by "sub0layer". You mention that you will develop a parachain which means you are going to rely on a relay chain which you say suffers from false decentralization as most nodes are hosted on big cloud providers and thus are vulnerable to these players. Do you think a parachain would fix the problems you are trying to overcome? I'm struggling to understand how this proposal will be a solution while still having the very same problems in its underlying layers. I would appreciate you clarifying on this topic. |
Hi @PieWol , thanks for the quick feedback. The sub0layer (computational layer) will be the outcome of the Logos network. We see Polkadot's method (relay or system chains and parachains) as the right technological approach for the future of Web3, so we want to support the Polkadot ecosystem by creating the possibility that the relay chain nodes and all parachains (blockchain nodes) can benefit from the Logos network or the sub0layer that is created by it. As you have indicated, it will only make sense if the relay chain is also executed on the sub0layer, which is our approach after the PoC is completed. Visualization: (concept: Figure 1: Overview of a Web2 approach in comparison to Web3 and Web3 with a new security and compute layer and how the Logos network can enhance the Web3 infrastructure.) So why Parachain, because of the Polkadot philosophy, technology and many other advantages, we want to develop in this ecosystem and let it benefit from the sub0layer. If more details are needed, please let me know |

thanks for elaborating @h3rak1it ,
To make this application ready for review please complete the information about your legal structure. You need to provide a registered address and a registered legal entity.
Hello @PieWol and @semuelle thanks for the remarks. A legal entity has not yet been registered. Please let me know if this is required or if you need further information. |
Hey @h3rak1it. This information is required to make clear who the benefactors of the grant are. The foundation is required to KYC all benefactors of a grant, and this is usually done through an entity. But it's perfectly acceptable to list individuals if you haven't established an entity yet. |
Hi @semuelle thanks for the clarification. The data has been sent via email. From: [email protected] |
Thanks for sending the information. We have received it. The application is now ready for review. |

Thanks a lot for the application and all the effort that you put into this. However, the grants committee decided not to go ahead with the project at this stage. Feel free to apply again if you have more technical details and a specification regarding the exact integration. Also, let us know if you have any questions.
