Hey
, I'm Waqas Ahmed — Agentic AI Engineer & Agentic Commerce specialist.
I work on agentic systems — multi-agent pipelines, AI-augmented engineering workflows, and agentic commerce infrastructure (checkout/payment protocols like ACP, AP2, x402, MCP). I hold Master's degrees across multiple areas of Computer Science.
💼 Open to: Agentic AI Engineer · Forward Deployed Engineer · Agentic Commerce Expert · open-source maintainer/contributor roles.
I try to keep up a steady, honest cadence of merged pull requests into projects I don't own — Laravel's core packages, ecommerce platforms, and some emerging agentic-commerce protocol specs. A few examples below; the stats further down update live.

Alongside application code, I've opened proposals against a few of the emerging checkout/payment specs:
- Agentic Commerce Protocol — PR #284, #290
- AP2 (Google Agentic Payments) — PR #305, a TypeScript SDK for AP2 mandates and receipts
- x402 (Linux Foundation) — a few open proposals around the Stellar facilitator, schema validation, and error-taxonomy docs
Most of this is done with Claude Code, in an AI-augmented workflow I built for myself: scout an unclaimed, well-scoped issue → an implementer agent reproduces and fixes it with tests → a separate reviewer agent checks the diff → CI has to pass before anything merges. I still read and stand behind every PR that goes out under my name.
Opsome — an agentic commerce AI support platform, currently running on a live halal-grocery e-commerce storefront (Laravel, LunarPHP, Filament, Chatwoot).
