Thanks! I believe spec files should be version controlled separately from the sources, that's how most distributions work. Have you considered maintaining moar for Fedora? https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/New_Package_Process_for_New_Contributors/ |
|
You are already in COPR, so this is done: Your next step should be to open a ticket in Bugzilla: This should eventually lead to being able to push the spec file to the Fedora repo: |
|
@danie-dejager could you please ask for a review of your spec file here? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi?product=Fedora&format=fedora-review |
|
@danie-dejager have you gotten your spec file reviewed in RedHat's Bugzilla? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi?product=Fedora&format=fedora-review If you could add a link here to your Bugzilla ticket that would be super! |

I'll have a look at adding to Fedora. |

Let's see. I logged a request here: |
Update version to 2.8.2 and add changelog entries.
Updated version number from 2.9.2 to 2.9.3 and added changelog entry for search performance improvements.
Updated version number from 2.9.4 to 2.9.5 and added changelog entry for the new release.
Updated version to 2.10.4 and added changelog entry for bug fix.
I've been packaging Moar/Moor in Copr for a while now. Here is the SPEC file I use if you want to merge it in, It will also upgrade Moar installations to Moor. I use UPX to compress the binary but that's not required and can be removed if you're interested.
