EchoGlaze is a full redesign and re‑architecture of my earlier travel planner prototype, EchoTrip.
This version reflects a more mature UX approach, a cleaner information architecture, and a shift toward a decision‑engine model rather than a traditional travel app.
EchoGlaze focuses on helping travelers evaluate destinations based on:
- accommodation culture
- workability
- cost structure
- transportation options
- overall “resonance” or fit
The redesign removes features that felt blog‑like or unfocused in EchoTrip and replaces them with a more intentional, identity‑aligned structure.
EchoTrip was built during an exploratory phase. EchoGlaze represents:
- a clearer UX philosophy
- a more principled schema
- a focus on real travel intelligence
- a cleaner separation between data, structure, and UI
- a more production‑ready architecture
This redesign also allowed me to revisit earlier ideas with a stronger understanding of prototyping tools, UX flows, and pre‑code design processes.
EchoGlaze organizes content into focused modules:
- Logistics
- Transportation
- Accommodation
- Resonance
- Saved Items
Countries were selected based on actual hostel culture and digital‑nomad viability.
For example, Italy, Iceland, and Japan were intentionally excluded due to limited or inconsistent hostel infrastructure.
The interface emphasizes clarity, emotional readability, and minimal friction.
EchoGlaze uses a more scalable, future‑proof data model that avoids the redundancy and bloat present in EchoTrip.
- Svelte
- TypeScript
- Vite
- Tailwind CSS
- JSON‑based data architecture
EchoGlaze is fully deployed and actively evolving.
Future updates will focus on:
- expanding curated destinations
- refining resonance signals
- improving accommodation/workability scoring
- adding more dynamic travel intelligence features
EchoGlaze is not a new idea — it’s a matured version of EchoTrip.
This redesign reflects how my UX, prototyping, and architectural thinking have evolved since graduation.
