• v0.8.0 — adopt ggfittext fit_text_grob() constructor

  Migrate the label geoms off ggfittext's private gTree internals onto the public fit_text_grob() constructor (ggfittext 0.11.0 / ggfittext#70). The downstream-migration gate: must land before adopting ggfittext 0.12.0, which changes the private contract and carries the coord_radial polar-label fix. Prerequisite for 0.9.0.
