I've added the save function for contacts on iOS and Android. Maybe together the function could be improved more. Save contact on the windows platform is still missing.

Most of the functionality in this library has been replaced by Plugins. I suggest you encapsulate what you have made here in one and distribute that instead.

ContactsPlugin README:

"Ported from Xamarin.Mobile to a cross platform API."

It doesn't include the Write to contacts that this pull request is providing

I didn't claim it did. As I have already stated, create your own plugin that does, or better submit a PR to an active project, such as the plugin @jamesmontemagno ported from this.

Sorry I thought you were suggesting the plugin as a contact saving alternative to this one. I'd be honoured to contribute to one of @jamesmontemagno plugins.

I've managed to get writing contacts to work on a project so I'll create a PR on the plugin ASAP!
