I sadly can't merge these myself 🤦. According to the github repo rules a maintainer other than myself must approve them before they are merged. Is @yoshuawuyts maybe available? Otherwise we can do a bit of a trick. Maybe someone else who would like to see a release of |

Just some cleanup before releasing the next version. Found some metadata and docs that could be better.
Also adding a note about this crate not being maintained, because it isn't. Maybe that helps a few people migrate off of it.
