An autonomous UAV research group for Skunk Works, Lockheed Martin.
This project encapsulates the Software team's development with a COTS UAV towards autonomous flight and image recognition of humans from thermal imaging. The project extends Lockheed Martin's VCSi platform with improved functionality like multi-mission and multi-zone selection, comprehensive coverage path planning algorithms, and real-time drone flight control.
