Ethical Issues

Users' privacy expectations are met by The software. Users can expect that minimal data are stored in a database including only their Discord Global Name, User Name, User ID, and Avatar. This data is used to log them into the website and keep them logged in for up to two weeks.

The software is not capable of any sort of discrimination as users are not able to interact with each other in any meaningful way. The software acts as a intermediate between a user and a Minecraft server. The software allows for configuration and administration of a Minecraft server but does not facilitate communication between two or more people directly. Though multiple users will have the potential to access the same interface, they will not be able to send or leave messages in any meaningful way on the website.

The software can not be used to cause harm to other users (besides security concerns). The software provides a way to configure and administrate a Minecraft server and does not provide a way for users to communicate on the platform itself. However, my service does provide access to a Minecraft server which can be used to create some pretty controversial things, it is beyond my power to stop those things from happening as the Minecraft server itself is beyond The software.
