2B ‐ Prerequisites

This page shall provide information regarding the prerequisite software and knowledge required to run the scripts. Resource links shall be added at the end of this page.

Prerequisite Knowledge

• Using the Linux shell
• Bash scripting
• Linux commands and Linux Distribution specific commands
• Time and patience 😄

Prerequisite Software

• OpenSUSE Tumbleweed*
• KDE Plasma Desktop Environment**
• Internet connection

Note

It is highly recommended to run the scripts on a fresh install of OpenSUSE Tumbleweed to avoid any conflicts and issues with packages. Currently, KDE Plasma Desktop Environment is the only supported desktop environment. In the future, other desktop environments may or may not be supported.
