What was done

Two bugs were fixed related to ice modelling with D-Flow FM:

  • after complete melt of ice the albedo wasn't reset from ice (0.75) or snow (0.90) to the albedo of water (0.06). This has been fixed in HEATUN.F90.
  • In case of a complete ice melt also the snow thickness has to be reset to zero. This has been fixed in m_fm_icecover.f90.

Tests

Four tests have been carried out; for an overview see p:\dflowfm\maintenance\JIRA\09000-09999\09420\basin-2\README.

  • Tests updated

    A new testcase has to be added to the D-Flow FM testbench (e02_dflowfm). This testcase is in:
    p:\dflowfm\maintenance\JIRA\09000-09999\09420\new_testbench_case\f020_heat_flux\c051_ice_melt\ice_melt.mdu
    also indicating the preferred location ("f020_heat_flux\c051_ice_melt"),
