System faction changed event

Triggered when there is a change in the controlling faction of a watched system.

When using this event in the Speech responder the information about this event is available under the event object. The available variables are as follows:

  • {event.match} - The name of the pattern that this event matched

  • {event.newfaction} - The name of the new controlling faction of the system

  • {event.oldfaction} - The name of the old controlling faction of the system

  • {event.system} - The name of the system

To respond to this event in VoiceAttack, create a command entitled ((EDDI system faction changed)). VoiceAttack variables will be generated to allow you to access the event information.

The following VoiceAttack variables are available for this event:

  • {TXT:EDDI system faction changed match} - The name of the pattern that this event matched

  • {TXT:EDDI system faction changed newfaction} - The name of the new controlling faction of the system

  • {TXT:EDDI system faction changed oldfaction} - The name of the old controlling faction of the system

  • {TXT:EDDI system faction changed system} - The name of the system
