Formula to calcultate cost of incarceration

M = Average cost of daily maintenance of an inmate in a county jail, FY 2009-2010 to 2014-2015 = $97.34

B = Average booking cost into county jail, FY 2009-2010 to 2014-2015 = $269.65

D = number of days in jail

Per-inmate cost of incarceration = B + M*D

All dollars are 2016 dollars.
