The NPCs in the village will need work. Looking at their skills and traits can help determine what job they may be best suited for.
Choosing what needs building, and where.
Items can be created using resources harvested, or by using sub-items.
When crafting items - we'll have to select who we want to create the item. Each NPC will have different skills and traits, which can change the values of the item created.
The squads will be used for raiding. Squads will get buffs, and such depending on how their previous raids went.
Attacking settlements can have various benefits:
- Training squads
- Finding resources
- Crushing an enemy force that's becoming too large
- Fun
The raiding will be a turn-based system similar to X-COM (without that damned RNG!)
Stats are what define a villager, and can help with their traits/skills
Skills are something that can be improved over time
Traits are something gained with experience or from events
