Welcome to the AVideo Gift Plugin wiki page! This plugin is crafted to amplify the user experience on AVideo by introducing a unique gifting system.
The AVideo Gift Plugin paves the way for users to acquire and present subscriptions and pay-per-view content to others. The aim is to engage potential subscribers or viewers by giving them a sneak peek into premium content.
- Purchase subscriptions and pay-per-view content for yourself or as a gift.
- Click on the "Buy as a Gift" to initiate the gifting process.
- Use the default message or personalize it for each gift.
- Gifts aren't restricted to a single month. Choose a suitable duration for your gift, be it for a month or up to a year.
- The beneficiary receives a custom email with details on how to redeem their gift.
- As a donor, you can:
- Review Gift History: See all your past gifts.
- Check Gift Status: Confirm if a gift code has been redeemed.
- Enabling the Buy Button: Activate the buy button through the YPTWallet plugin. This replaces the PPV or subscription buttons in the top menu.
- Directing to Buy Link: When the gift plugin is active, users are led to the buy link in place of the PayPerView or Subscription purchase.
- Choosing the Right Gift: The buy link displays all PPV and Subscription choices. Decide between regular PPV, subscription, or "buy as a gift" options.

Gift Details: On choosing to gift, a window prompts you to provide:
- Duration of the gift (e.g., 1 to 12 months).
- Recipient's email address.
- Custom gift message (optional).
- Wallet Balance Requirement: Ensure you have a positive balance in your wallet for purchases. If not, you'll be prompted to add funds.
- The recipient gets an email with a unique gift redemption link.
- The gift code is a one-time-use code.
- Once redeemed, the recipient enjoys access to the content or subscription for the specified duration.
- One-Time Payment: The gifter bears no recurring fees. Gifts are one-off payments.
- Unique Gift Code: Upon payment completion, a distinct code is dispatched to the recipient for content or subscription access.
- Continuation: Post the expiration of the gifted period, recipients can prolong their experience through new purchases.
