Where possible, laptops run our customised version of Debian GNU/Linux. This includes software packages that we have identified as useful for our students, as well as sensible desktop shortcuts.

To install this:

Download the latest version at https://www.wizziewizzie.org/live-image-amd64.hybrid.iso. This will be updated periodically.
Using your preferred software, create a USB stick using the downloaded ISO image.
Insert the stick into a laptop, reboot, and install.

Note that this will wipe out the hard drive of the target laptops!
