Project Update 09_26_2017

Summary

This sprint we achieved exactly what we set out to do — to put our team in the best possible position we could be in before issuing our first solicitation for this project.

Some critical discussion on funding wrapped up at the end of this sprint, our technical prototype is approaching completion, and the solicitation documents are down to just a few remaining details. We’ve been able to mitigate a number of risks we identified early in the project, and we’ve crafted solicitation documents that will help us find great vendors to work with. (Incidentally, interest from the vendor community in this project remains high, as evidenced by some recent activity on our public GitHub repo.)

Completed

  • Outstanding items relating to data access in legacy systems are being resolved.
  • Incorporated SOW into the draft RFP document, and we’re getting all solicitation documents ready for the first procurement.
  • Discussions around funding are wrapping up, and we should be ready to move forward with a longer-term funding plan next sprint.
  • Drafted responses to comments from CMS on IAPD submission.

To do

  • Complete work required to use existing authentication / authorization platform for vendor delivered modules and functionality.
  • Validate approach to modifying ARIES to incorporate vendor-delivered modules and functionality.
